James Franklin SeeApril 26, 1939 - November 3, 2014James Franklin See, 75, of Monongahela, died Monday, November 3, 2014 in the Southwestern Nursing Center, West Mifflin. He was born April 26, 1939 in McKeesport, the son of Hansel and Rose Marie Sowa See. Mr. See was employed for over twenty years at Clairton Slag. He retired after a number of years of being a self employed truck driver. In the 70's and 80's, he played guitar with Jimmy C and the Country Panics throughout the Mon Valley area. Mr. See was a member of the Slovak American Citizens Club in Monongahela and the Hoot Owls Athletic Association in New Eagle. He is survived by three sons and two daughters, Dale and wife Carmen See of Anchorage, Alaska; Deborah and husband Marty Inserra of New Eagle; Shawn See of Hubbard, Ohio; Jami See with whom he made his home; James Kelly of South Park; four grandsons, Brandon Hickle, Tyler Hallam, Gary and Josh See; brother, Bobby See; and two sisters, Betty Cain and Nancy Sloan. Friends were received on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services were held on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Dennis Inserra officiating.
