William de Graham, who as 'Willielmus de Graham' follows Alan as a witness in the charter of Balnebuth. He was witness to a charter by Alexander of Seton to Adam of Powarth and Emma, the granter's sister, of the lands of Beath, c 1200. From a charter afterwards noticed it is not improbable that the wife of William de Graham was a sister of Polwarth. He was my 29th Great Grandfather through the lineage of Mini HaHa DAVIS the wife of James Elwood SEE, my Great Grandfather. He was Born in 1089 Grantham ,Lincolnshire, England Died 1139 Dalkeith, Midlothian, Scotland William was married to Lillian Doran who was borned in 1097 and died 1139. They were married in Montrose, Angus, Scotland in 1122. David, of Kinnabar, Forfarshire, which was granted him, with other lands near Montrose, by William I (The Lion) (1165-1214); also acquired lands in Midlothian from his cousin Henry de Graham of Dalkeith. |
